T'Chaka  a taste of Haiti

Haiti Cherie

Haiti is located in the Caribbean Sea between Jamaica and Puerto Rico.  It is the first and only country that became independent of slavery on January 1st 1804.  Haiti was called Hispanola under the Spanish colony  until Spain gave the portion of the Island to the French now one side is Dominican Republic where they speak Spanish and the other side Haiti.  Language spoken in Haiti are French, which is the official language of the country and Kreyol which is the  second language of the county.  Kreyol was created by different African tribes that were slaves with the purpose of gaining their independence.  90% of The Haitians are called African Diaspora who were displaced from Africa and gain possession of Haiti through the revolution.  Haiti has a beautiful history, beautiful people, beautiful culture and amazing food where our recipes are popular in Louisiana mostly New Orleands.

We welcome you all to share our amazing food at T'chaka a Taste Of Haiti,  mesi ampil.  Thank you for your support.
